Research that became a company
In 2021, my final-year research at Landmark University became SMSPROTECT, a mobile app that detects smishing attacks. The research was published in ICT Express and has been cited 46 times.
In 2023, the research became a company. I co-founded CyberMunity to bring AI-powered phishing protection to enterprises. Today our flagship product, SMS Protect v2.0, catches malicious texts at 95% accuracy in under 200 milliseconds.
I lead the company as CEO. I also still write the code. Both of those matter.
